Who are these people ? As explained on our homepage , we are a team of people who are dedicated to easing the paperwork burden business faces today . Our team consists of three - Pauline Hamilton, Jeff Ross and Bob McMullan. Jeff Ross : Jeff Ross has been the proprieter of Stobo's Pharmacy in Oamaru for over 20 years, a busy pharmacy which averages around 300(+) scripts a day. Stobo's has grown over the last twenty years from a pharmacy employing 3 staff to it's existing size, employing 12 staff members. Employing staff brings its own burdens, and the Employment Relations Act 2000 promises to create even more paperwork obligations. This, coupled with the already enormous burden of creating and maintaining Quality in Pharmacy documentation led to the concept of an "ultimate prescription" for the busy pharmacist facing these obligations. ( Hence the Ultrx name) . Ultrx will be continually evolving as increasing pressures for adequate documentation come upon busy pharmacists, and qualified staff become more and more difficult to find. Pauline Hamilton : Pauline is a qualified pharmacist who has worked in and managed a busy dispensary for over 10 years. She specialises in systems analysis and during the past ten years has assisted in streamlining many of the functions of the dispensary to reduce or eliminate repetitive actions which have resulted in substantial time saving and also improved workflow. Systems analysis also allowed the reduction of stockholding by 15% while still providing an excellent service to customers. This had a roll-on effect of having 12+ dispensary stock turns a year. During this time we have seen a major increase in the amount of paperwork necessary to meet Audit requirements , and the Ultrx concept was born to help busy pharmacists meet their paperwork obligations. We have since realised the demand for this service is not limited only to pharmacy , and as a result we have set to work to provide answers to the repetitive and time-consuming paperwork that all employers face under the Employment Relations Act 2000, and also the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992. Bob McMullan Bob is know affectionately as our "techno-wiz". He is the chief computer programmer in the team. He has been involved in Quality System maintenance programs in the healthcare, energy and manufacturing industries. | |||||
