How to meet OSH requirements in Less than 15 minutes a week The greatest enemy business owners face today is lack of time . Every day brings more challenges , and so many items are being pushed into the "I' ll-do-it-when-I-get-more- time" basket . OSH is here to stay , and eventually all of us are going to be faced with the inevitable audit . There are three ways to meet OSH requirements . 1. The Hard Way - do everything manually , constantly repeating the same tasks , taking up time , and money . 2. The Expensive Way - Don't do anything , and just hope that you are never in a position of having to justify yourself . 3. The SMART Way
- a new concept in the paper war .
It' s Simple - Using the latest internet technology , all you have to do is provide an email account for each of your staff , then sign them up to our system . It' s Managed - The system is run by a qualified pharmacist with a retail background who understands the issues facing you in today' s competitive environment . It' s Audit-compliant - The system is designed to meet requirements for OSH standards and provides the necessary documentation and tracking of individual staff compliance . It' s
Reliable - The
system is managed across the internet , and takes care of OSH compliance
issues with only a minimal input required by you . It's Time-saving - You can sit back and relax as all your paperwork is completed online by you and your staff in a matter of minutes , rather than the laborious hours you would have to put in for a manual system . WHAT DOES IT COST ? Costs can be kept low as the internet allows overheads to be minimised . Each module has a
separate cost , and when you compare it to the cost of the other two
options I mentioned at the start , you'll be pleasantly surprised
!!!
One could reasonably expect such a system to take around about 80 hours to initially implement with a weekly input of at least two hours per week after that . ( supposing of course you have this extra time to put in ) ! If you estimate a your time is worth $80 per hour , then we are talking a cost in time alone of $6400 to set up your business , and an ongoing cost of $160 per week . This doesn' t include costs of photocopying , sending staff on courses etc . Because time is the thing you have least of, most businesses are at present opting to go with option 2 ..... Option 2 - The Expensive Way - Do nothing , and hope you' ll never be in a position to justify yourself . However , this could have major costs associated with it . Between April 1993 and 28 Oct 1998 , there were 921 convictions under the Act , with fines ranging between $100 and $30,000 , at an average of $4,129 . And these figures are likely to be conservative , compared with future fines . So what does OSHRX cost ?
